We do realize that there are a few (an understatement) Body Oils on the market today. However, after a few (also an understatement) hours in R&D we feel that we have succeeded in offering a higher standard Body Oil by amping-up the factors that dramatically help improve skin appearance and texture. In order to provide an out-of-the-box Body Oil to our clients, Body Sculpt Oil at its core consists of a new generation, scientifically complete Squalane and Squalene Oils. It may not sound exciting to some, but hang in there with us and you will soon find out why CoValence’s Body Sculpt Oil is far more sophisticated than any other Body Oils available on the market.
Let’s start with one of our favorites…Squalane. For centuries people have loved benefiting from the properties of Squalane, extracted from olives. But, until just recently we did not have any clinical data showing the benefits of Squalane. You will be pleased to find out that we now have clinical data for the Squalane used in the Body Sculpt Oil which confirms how Squalane is an impressive ‘anti-age’ ingredient. The studies (listed below in the Clinical Results section) involved testing a face cream with 5% Squalane (we utilize 10% Squalane in the Body Sculpt Oil) against a placebo. The results were incredible with just 5% Squalane: decreased skin roughness (perfect for rough areas such as elbows and knees), increased skin firmness (increased firmness addresses the appearance of less cellulite dimpling and balanced skin topography) and decrease in wrinkles (ideal for anyone fighting against ‘Tech Neck’ and décolleté wrinkles). What can we extrapolate from these studies in relationship to the Body Sculpt Oil? The increased value from 5% to 10% of Squalane is certain to work unbelievably well on skin after just the first application and most noticeably after continued, on-going usage.
Yes, we could have simply made a 10% Squalane + Vitamin E Body Oil, but there is so much more advanced technology available at our fingertips and it has always been in our DNA to step-it-up. To be perfectly clear, the new Squalene Botanical Skin-Lipid Complex is not derived from sharks, as in years past. The Squalene used in this complex is lab derived from olives. This Squalene, combined with plant sterols and sterol esters, was formulated as a botanical mimetic of a healthy 22-year-old’s skin surface lipid. Lipids are essential for healthy skin, yet the ratio of lipid components reduce and become unbalanced as we age. This delicately balanced complex of ingredients has shown in clinical data (see below in Clinical Results section) to balance the skin’s lipid deficit to a healthier texture and appearance. A healthier appearance generally results in less redness caused by sensitivities, less uneven topography and increased luminosity. Anyone want their skin to mimic what they had when they were 22 years old? We do too, which is why we added this Squalene Complex into the Body Sculpt Oil.
